Nemesis
When it comes to mysteries,
the Brits can't be beat and when it comes to British mysteries, Miss
Marple is right up there near the top of the list. This
Miss Marple TV movie was even nominated for a BAFTA award for Joan
Hickson's portrayal of the clever detective who belies stereotypes
about old people. Naturally we thought Bruce did a terrific job
too...In fact this film shows off his acting skills quite well,
with a wide range of emotion and nuance.
Elusive Michael Rafiel (Bruce) moves in and out of the story in a fog
of mystery -- is he the killer or is he something else? Why is he
living on the streets? Miss Marple (Joan Hickson) has to find
out...
Dirty and disheveled Michael, the dead woman's fiance, may be under a
cloud of suspicion but
scruffy as he is, he is still charismatic, as the accompanying photos
show. Bruce's blue eyes under that dirty, stringy hair burn with
fire and intensity, promising much more intensity to come in his
career...
