According to NASA, the next
full eclipse of the moon is on Aug. 28, 2007 but we decided not to wait
to celebrate the lunar eclipse. We have our own Full Eclipse, starring...Bruce of
course. We have the first of TWO thumbnail pages for our new
gallery; the first one alone has 165 pics. More next week!
We have also uploaded the "Dark Moon" music slide show (with "Mars, the
Bringer of War" from Holst's "The Planet Suite") to You Tube. For

July 7: Time for another hero page...and Israfel has given us a swimmingly good one: She has created a thumbnail page with 52 pics from Britannic, another film in which Bruce gets to play a good guy. Sounding and looking every bit the cultured British gentleman in 6 new audio/video clips, Bruce is superb as Major Baker, the physician aboard the ill-fated Britannic during World War I. Once again Bruce demonstrates his versatility and range as an actor and looks great doing it.

June 22: Sometimes the Fates smile on us and this is one of those times. The gods and goddesses have granted us a great boon.
On June 1, we announced that we had bought the shirt and pants Bruce wore as Damodar in D&DII. As it turns out, there was a problem and the outfit was not available. So Premiere Props, the EBay seller, graciously gave us one of Damodar's capes instead!! It's the one that Damodar wears as he is trying to make his escape near the end of the movie. We are THRILLED and want to thank Premiere Props for being so conscientious and considerate. See the photo of our cape (and Damodar wearing this cape in the film) and the Certificate of Authenticity on our D&DII Page 2. Very soon we will have our very own techo-wizard Merlin model it for us. He's about Bruce's height while us other angels are a bit shorter...
But right
now the cape is in Israfel's possession and is she in sheer heaven,
being as Damodar is her favorite!

June 16: As promised, we have a RARE TREAT: 49 photos from Operation Julie, a hard-to-find movie from 1985 (hooray for EBay!). Bruce looks delicious in long hair and a beard AND he gets to play a good guy. Those who have only seen him as Damodar or Kell will be astonished at how angelic he looks--we kid you not. But in the spirit of full disclosure, we will say that though he is a good guy, his behavior is not always angelic.

June 2: Once again it's time for the Movie of the Month. This month we want to "sweep" you away with...Sweepers. July 30 in the USA.
SECOND: According to the IMDB, The supernatural thriller Messages will open on a platform release before being released nationwide in the UK on June 15 2007. It will open in London on June 15, 2007 at the "Genesis" Multiplex cinema 93-95 Mile End Road Whitechapel E14UJ. Also screening at the Showcase Cinema, Bently Mill Way Walsall WS2 OLE and the Showcase Cinema, Aintree Oval Teeside Leisure Park Stocton.
THIRD: Wonderland will be released for the first time on DVD July 16. It can be preordered at Amazon.co.uk.In another late-breaking development, Bruce's Angels has won on EBay one of the costumes DAMODAR wore in Dungeons & Dragons: Wrath of the Dragon God. Israfel is on Cloud Nine!!! Her little angel wings are red-hot from flapping so much in excitement! We love heroes around
here and so we thought it was time to put more pics on the Silence Like
Glass page. It's one of our favorite Bruce films, for
the inspiring content, the great acting, and not least of all, for
Bruce as a sweet, adorable physician. We've added 7 more photos
to the page, a new animated set of pics, and a new graphic by Ariel
entitled "First, Do No Harm." This motto is not from the
Hippocratic Oath that some physicians take. as is commonly supposed,
but it is a principle that
all physicians are taught.

May 12: As promised, we have a new movie page for your perusal. It's The Keep from 1983 and even though the young Bruce was only in the film for a minute or two, our photos manager Israfel managed to squeeze 7 pics out of it and make a kool graphic! She is good! To accompany it, we also have the Fangoria article about the special effects in the film. Sorry, no Bruce in the article, but if you dig special effects in horror movies, it's kool. May 11: The update honors today belong to our affiliate sites: Kool Bruce Payne and Welcome to the House of Payne. Israfel gave them some kool new graphics : KBP has a new D&D2 entitled "The Ecstasy of Life" and a new Warlock one called "Angel or Devil" (h-m-m-m). WHOP has a new Warlock one called "House of Hell" (!!!) and a new Paranoia 1.0 called "Paranoia will destroy ya." Yep, that Israfel, the angel of music, knows her songs. That last title is from an old song by the Kinks. Tomorrow a NEW film page gets added..Well, OK the film is not new but we didn't have a page for it till now.

Are we partying down? Oh yes, we certainly are! It hasn't been easy surviving this long. It's been a lot of hard work and we have endured some trials and tribulations but it's all been worth it. We've had fun creating this site, we've made wonderful new friends. we've been thrilled to be able to promote such a talented actor and we've been able to look at LOTS of photos of Bruce Payne and is that a plus!! For those of you who have been following our fan site, we extend our thanks for your support. If you want to put a face on the creators of this site, check out the new photos on the About Us page. No, they're not like the Halloween pics. Those were pics from our "night jobs" on the "graveyard shift." These are our daytime faces and we think they're pretty angelic..
.For our piece de resistance, we offer the premiere of our first You Tube video: Wrath of Damodar, an 8 minute slide show from D&D2 with captions and music by Advent Sleep. OK, so we haven't captured moving clips yet and we barely know what we are doing on You Tube but watch out. By next year, we'll be hellions on wheels with video capture.
In the meantime, we figure that the more Bruce Payne videos of whatever
kind on You Tube the better. We will be creating a special page
with the urls of all the videos on You Tube that feature Bruce. We've

We'll have what he's having...April 7: We are in the process of making individual photo story pages because we have so many. Today we unveil our HERO PHOTOSTORY PAGE and our VILLAIN PHOTOSTORY PAGE. If you haven't checked the photostories out, you're in for a treat. They're lots of fun, almost like a silent movie. Even the page backgrounds are spectacular!
April 6: News about Messages: According to a poster on the IMDb board for Messages: "The film will be released in June. A London, West End cinema has signed up to show the film for a two week run and the UK distributor is presumably busy signing up other cinemas around the UK. Apparently the UK DVD release won't be many months behind (which seems to be the norm nowadays)."
We have obtained a Passenger 57 lobby card. Though we have the black and white version of the photo used, this one is in color. We don't recall seeing the color version anywhere else.
March 31: It's time for our April Movie of the Month and that's no fooling,,,In honor of April Fools Day, we picked Solarbabies and our favorite bumbling idiots--Dogger and Malice, the most pitiful scoundrels you would ever hope not to meet. They stink, they're dumb as dirt ...and the funniest characters we've seen in a long time. People who have never seen Bruce play a comic role will see just what a talented comic actor he is in his scenes with Alexei Sayle, another gifted comic actor. Our Movie of the Month page has links to Israfel's NEW thumbnail page with 100 photos (how DID she get that with only 10 minutes of onscreen time!), a photostory, and of course, Sofia's calendar page. For fans, good news--this film is now available on DVD through Amazon.

It is apparently at script stage. The "start date" (filming, we assume) is February 15, 2008. Bruce is listed first in the "credited cast." Since the project is "in development," this information is subject to change!
March 10: Time to raise some more Hellborn...You won't be Damned when you check out the new Hellborn/Asylum of the Damned thumbnail photo gallery with 137 pics!! and the 7 new audio/video clips on our audio page. It is with sadness that we announce that our dear graphics artist angel CMoon has suffered a personal tragedy in her family. It will be a while before she will be up to doing any more of those wonderful graphics for us. We send her our love and best wishes.
February 24: Ready for that Special and Rare Treat we promised you?...If you thought last week's photos of Bruce from Vogue UK were delicious--and they certainly were--wait till you feast your eyes on the ones from the Cosmopolitian UK article we've just posted! These two pics are dazzling and as far as we can recall, the one below does not appear on any other Bruce fan site. The author describes Bruce as "Dangerous and dangerously good-looking, his sex appeal may make him a star..." Oh yes, so true, but we can't fathom why she describes his eyes as "dark brown." We think his BLUE BLUE eyes are one of Bruce's most distinct and appealing features.
