Updates
2008
December
31:
The
last day of 2008 has arrived. Are you ready for the new year?
Ready or not, here it comes. To start off the New Year on a
positive note, we have a beautiful calendar from our Calendar Queen,
Sofia. It features our favorite "sharp-dressed" man and lots of
fireworks.
Click here for the January 2009 calendar
And the 12 Days saga continues with the Six Spies A-Snooping...Tina
runs out of room and blankets...
starring Jurgen and Nikita, the 3 Bonds
and oh yes, humorless Michael...
December 30: It's time for the 5th Day of Christmas
and our friend Tina is beginning to have just a tiny, tiny bit of doubt about the
gift of Five Kilted Celts...
Jacob, Duncan, Boudica, Cuchulain and a Scottish bagpiper show up at
Tina's...
December 29: The
merriment continues as our 12 Days of Christmas spoof rolls into its
4th day. Tina Truefan is a bit more pleased with her gifts of "four
doctors dazzling"...Now who could they be?...

If
you're just now tuning in, start at the 1st Day to get the trend...Tina
starts out pleased with her gifts but...then as we go along...oh,
you'll see.,.

December 28:
BREAKING NEWS!! BRUCE IS FILMING
A NEW MOVIE! It's called Disturbance and is a horror story.
Bruce has top billing as the priest. Oh my, no priest should look this
good....have we said that before?...
The story involves poltergeists and has the tag line "the scariest
movie you'll ever see." OK, but seeing Bruce is never
scary...
On a less exciting note, here is the 3rd Day of Christmas. Now the
"email" between Tina Truefan and her friend Tommy Toomuch begins to get
just a tad weird, what with the gift of three Ravagers ravaging and
all...

December
27:
Continuing our "12 Days of Christmas Bruce Style" spoof....We have
posted the the 2nd Day of Christmas....To follow the continuity of the
story, first go to the Day page or Intro (if you are just starting),
then to the "email" link on the Day page and then to the link to the
next
day in sequence.

December
26: As we promised, we begin our reprise
of "The 12 Days of Christmas Bruce Style" today. It's meant
all in good fun. At the end of any year, this one is no exception,
there are many glum things to remember. Not discounting any of
these things, we still would like to end the year on a fun, if not
exactly a joyful, note. Please join us for ...
with the gift of Damodar and a Dragon spree...
December 24: Our
German Angel Steffi helps us wish all of you Happy Holidays, Merry
Christmas and Happy New Year. Not the Santa you were
expecting? We are a bit
perverse around here, in case you hadn't notice...
Speaking of perverse, on December 26, we begin reprising
our spoof "12 Days of Christmas, Bruce Style." The
holidays should be celebrated with joy and fun, after all. Also
stay tuned for the new gorgeous New Year's calendar on Saturday.
December 20:
The
Solstice seasons were sacred to the Celts so we have prepared a Celtic
Solstice Celebration. Since
the most powerful of all Celtic symbols was the Dragon, we thought a
Damodar and Dragons video would be in order. It features Damodar slides
from both Dungeons & Dragons
films as well as Celtic artwork and ancient Celtic music from Dongas
Tribe. The Solstice begins tomorrow so enjoy...
presented by Bruce's Celtic Angels
Click for the Solstice page and the video link to You Tube. You can
also find the video on our music slideshow page if you want to download
it.
It's no surprise that Bruce Payne has fans in many other countries. The
languages above in the Welcome message represent just some of the
countries of the fans who have visited our web site. Below is a
link to a new video on You Tube honoring Bruce from
"Quintinhavermelha," a fan from Brazil.

December 13:
The holidays are here and we bring you
good cheer...A funny photo story to be exact. We
didn't have a photo story from Pyrates
so we thought this would be a good time to get one together.
Bruce gets to show off his comedic talent in an amusing tale of
"pyrolove" -- love on fire or more accurately, setting fires...playing
the guitar-strumming, wisecracking sidekick to
Kevin Bacon's "fiery" lover (of the Kyra Sedgewick character).
The musical accompaniment, "Tainted Love," is a reference to a song
that Bruce and Kevin do together in the film. So kick back, pour
a cup of eggnog and enjoy this holiday fun...

For more delightful pics of Bruce as a
real cutie-pie, an adorable good bad boy, click here for the Pyrates
page. Kell no, he isn't a bit evil in this one.
Better stock up on more eggnog because we have more treats coming
soon,,,our traditional holiday cards, our Solstice Special, our reprise
of the 12 Days of Christmas Bruce Style...we're going to make merry
this holiday season and we hope you all will join us in the festivities.
December 6:
In
keeping with our December custom of showcasing heroes rather than
villains (it is, after all, the season of "peace on earth, good will
toward all")--we are featuring the charming and suave Dr. Baker from Britannic for your viewing
enjoyment this week. For those of you who have not seen Britannic, we have found parts of
the movie on You Tube. Bruce's Dr. Baker is featured in both. In
the first segment (opening 10 minutes of movie), Dr. Baker quotes
Byron, the celebrated English poet. The second segment is very
short and from another source. HeroLoco47, the creator of the
first segment, promises to have the rest of the movie up soon.
To go along with this video, Israfel has created a photostory with lots
of pics of Bruce looking every bit the noble hero. She begins her
photo story with the Byron quote. See link below. If you
haven't seen the Britannic
page with Ariel's commentary/review of the film, follow the Britannic link below.

November 29: As
the clock ticks down toward the new year, we bring you the first of
our holiday cheer--the December calendar. Once again, Sofia has
created a masterpiece. Taking CMoon's delicious Santa Damodar and
adding a winter wonderland and voila! Holiday
Damodar! Not your usual holiday topic to be sure but isn't
he cute?
Israfel is thrilled because Damodar is her favorite...
Speaking of Damodar, we've found a delightful Damodar video on You Tube.
Devilly delicious Damodar doing dastardly deeds
And if you haven't seen our two Damodar pages, check them out. We get
LOTS of hits on these pages every week because we are THE fan site for
Damodar on the Web.

November 22: Welcome to our
Please join us for the celebration of our "home boy" Bruce's
birthday. To celebrate, Israfel has prepared a retrospective of
Bruce's work over the last 3 decades, complete with clever quotes from
some of his choicest films. To keep yourself in a party mood even
longer, visit the previous years' birthday celebrations for some
fantastic artwork by our talented angelic team. All the links can be

November 15:
Something's
awfully fishy here...slimy and creepy too...But don't worry, we're only
talking about Necronomicon and
the slimy stuff is seaweed...well,
that and a whole lot more... Bruce
stars in one segment of this H.P. Lovecraft movie and we just found
that segment on You Tube. Bruce gets to demonstrate his fantastic
emotional acting range in this one, so if you haven't seen this film,
now you can. The YT video is in three parts. Sofia did a special
graphic to go along with the video. If you haven't seen our Necronomicon page, check out the
text (Ariel is a big fan of H.P. Lovecraft and has a commentary on the
film) and pics, both yummy (Bruce) and icky (Cthulhu..YIKES!)

we agree!

Be sure to come back next week for our Bonnie Bruce Birthday
Bash!!
November 8:
Our kool friend, Matt, at
Direct-to-Video Connoisseur, has a new film review featuring (as he
puts it) our "homeboy." This
time it's Riders aka Steal. He called it "a pretty
sweet flick" and liked Bruce--except for the "Brooklyn" accent. We have
to agree that
Bruce's Brit accent is much kooler. Check out Matt's web site and his
clever reviews.

UBER KOOL
ANNOUNCEMENT: Our byzy sisters at Bruce Payne
Rules and angelic brother Qamiel at Kool Bruce Payne have migrated to
an ad-free host, thanks to our computer wizard
Merlin. Check them out at links below.

UBER KOOL TRIVIA: In the Dr. Who Christmas special, "Voyage of
the Damned," featuring the Titanic in space, Dr. Who (David Tennant) is
given the designation "Passenger 57." Coincidence? We
think not.
November 2: Our hard-working (note the details
on the graphic) Calendar Queen Sofia came through for us with an
imaginative concept for the Bruce Birthday Month. We've said it before,
we'll say it again--like fine wine, Bruce only gets better with
age. Sofia decided cognac was the exemplar of maturity with grace
and urbaneness and we can't argue with that.
A toast to Bruce in his birthday month. There'll be more celebrations
to come...

October 31:
Steffi definitely in the
right mood for Halloween and brings us yet another deliciously creepy
graphic (see Halloween Havoc page). Israfel didn't want to miss out on
the fun and added her own
version of Bruce Halloween to the Kool Bruce Payne site.

First, our Halloween Special graphic by
Steffi (now on the Halloween Havoc page.
Then, for our Halloween finale, we have the spooky, creepy, eerie video
"Conjuring Delicious Evil" by Ariel with more spooky, creepy, eerie
music by Kevin MacLeod of incompetech.com. You can download it from our

now it's time for some

we c-r-e-e-p closer and closer to Halloween, we continue to "conjure
delicious evil" for your viewing pleasure. Click below for this week's
delicious diversion--a slide show with all our favorite spooky
characters. This page will also lead you to our previous
Halloween happenings, including "Welcome to Monsterpiece Theatre."

And just in time for Halloween, we've discovered a trailer for Warlock III on You Tube. Bruce, as the elegant
Phillip Covington, is featured a lot in the second half of the trailer.
Cast a spell on us, Phillip...
October 11: Our Bruce Payne fan site"empire" is
on the move...to a new virtual server maintained by our computer wizard
Merlin at a new host IP. The first to move is Welcome to the House of
Payne. It's now ad-free and rarin' to go! Now that it is no
longer constrained by the limitations of a free site, Mistress of
the Darkness has created a new all-scary villains screensaver and
Bruce's Devilette Sofia has created 3 new eye-popping graphics all in
honor of Halloween (our favorite holiday...wonder why?...) Bruce
Payne Rules and Kool Bruce Payne will follow soon. And needless
to say, more Halloween treats are in the making, as Bruce's Angels
temporarily become little she-devils....
Click here for Welcome to the
House of Payne's Halloween page...
October 4: And
now for the goodie from the British Library we promised you...When she
was in London, Ariel took a l-o-n-g Tube ride out to the British
Library newspaper archives to find this one. It's an article
about Yellowthread Street
from Britain's TV Weekly Jan.
13-19, 1990. To go with it, we created a new YTS page with
links to all the other YTS items, including 2 photostories and 7 photos
of the delectable, delicious, devilish Detective Nick Eden.
Take a ride with Detective Eden...
September 28: Ariel
is back just in time for the "sin"-sational "spook"-tacular new October
calendar. Sofia just keeps topping herself with luscious spreads that
make calendar-watching a treat. The theme of this one is
"Conjuring Delicious Evil." There'll be more spooky features
coming up in this Halloween month as well as a special goodie next week
courtesy
of the British Library.

September
20: Ariel is
still spreading her wings in grand style enjoying her vacation in
Europe! But as for me, Israfel, my wings are still firmly planted here
on the ground. The IMDb now offers courtesy of Hulu.com the Dragnet
episode "All That Glitters" in its entirety from 2003 starring Bruce.
If you haven't had a chance to see this Bruce episode, check it out!
Click the link below to view:

Also, did Ariel happen to maybe
uncover some treasures in the form of New Bruce goodies while she's
been in Europe? Stay tuned....to find out!
September
13: I'm (Israfel) winging it all by myself
for the moment. Ariel has spread her wings and taken flight off on a
grand vacation to Europe! Once again we have branched out with Bruce
over the web. This time at Bebo. We have made a page for Bruce on Bebo.
Click link below to visit the new Bruce's Angels Bruce Bebo Page. Drop
in and pay us a visit and say Hello!

September
6: Our
pal Matt from Direct to Video Connoisseur has come through with the
promised review of One Man's
Justice. He thought it was a stinker. Can't dispute
that. He had a hard time getting past Bruce's American accent. He has a
point-- All Bruce fans prefer his sonorous Brit accent over the harsh
American one. But hey, in spite of all this, we think Bruce's long
blond hair, nose ring and sarcasm are worth wading thorugh the rest.
Though hey, Matt is right--sarcasm sounds better with a Brit accent.
But Matt is kool so we hope you will check out his web site. We
also hope he will review one of the movies where Bruce has his own Brit
voice soon. In the meantime we are inspired to gaze at that long
blond hair and nose ring once again...so check out Israfel's
slide show on its own new gorgeous page -- "U Can't Touch This" (M.C.
Hammer, who sings this song, is
in the film though he doesn't sing--too bad, would have improved
things. As Matt says, Hammer was wasted in the film.)

U
can touch this by clicking
here for the slide show
and
revisit our One Man's Justice
page for some of our
sarcasm...and more delicious pics of that long blond hair and...
August 30: Wow, here it is September
already and we've gone through all the Bruce movies for the
calendars. So we're just starting all over again! Since our
"Dark Love" You Tube video was such a success (getting close to 11,000
views as of today!), we thought we'd try another "naughty" video...So
Ariel has just made one titled "The Naughty Neighbor"...that naughty
girl...with clips from Paranoia
1.10. Sofia has created a
terrific calendar to go with it.

September Calendar
August 23: In these mellow yellow
days of late summer, we decided it was about time for Yellow to be on
You Tube. We have loaded a set of audio/video clips from
"Horse Heir," that uproariously funny episode of Keen Eddie. This episode is
one of the funniest we've ever seen on
any TV series.

For those of you who have been wondering what's happened to Brothel--and we certainly are
too--we can tell you that someone connected with the film has been
updating the Brothel page on
Wikipedia regularly so don't give up hope...
And we fixed a bad link on the Actor
page. The link to the slide show "The Many Faces of Bruce Payne
2005" now takes you to the right place!
August 16:
It's not Halloween but we couldn't
resist bringing you another chapter of "A Midsummer Night's
Scream." OK so we didn't try very hard...This time we have
another slide show set to the tune of Michael Jackson's
"Thriller." Just a little early Halloween to perk things up....

August
9:
Last
week's update "A Midsummer Night's Dream" was so sweet and dreamy we
thought we needed a chance of pace. We tried to resist, really we
did, but we finally succumbed to temptation...the temptation to call
this week's theme a "Midsummer
Night's Scream." Now tell us honestly, if you were
us, could you have resisted?...We didn't think so...
Israfel took a few days off so naughty Ariel and Sofia went searching
for the Dark Side...the dark side of fairies, that is. So instead
of Rackham and Dulac fairies, they found something a bit...different...
for their music video. The music is of course no longer Mendelssohn,
it's an eerie piece called "The Heart of the Beast" by Kevin McLeod. He
has a great site for all types of royalty-free music he has composed,
with everything from classical to eerie and intense. Check him out at incompetech.com.
You can see our new "A Midsummer Night's Scream" page or see the video
on You Tube.
Get ready for a very
different midsummer night's slumber party
Queen
Titania
August 1:
"The stuff dreams are
made on..." Come dream with Titania this weekend... "There
sleeps Titania sometime of the night, lulled in these flowers, with
dances and delight..." You will be delighted with this week's
offering--two musical slide shows, each a different take on a Midsummer
Night's Dream, Bruce Style. The music, appropriately enough, is
from "A Midsummer Night's Dream" by Mendelssohn. Click below for
our
MND page and the downloadable versions. We've also uploaded
Ariel's video on You Tube. The imbedded You Tube video is also on the
MND page.

And speaking of summer dreaming, Ariel will soon have the great good
fortune to actually see "A Midsummer Night's Dream" performed --and at
the historic restored Globe Theatre in London while she is there in
September. Bruce would be fantastic doing Shakespeare; too bad
he's not in this play. In Sofia's graphic (see above), he looks
a bit like the impish Puck but perhaps he's really more of an Oberon...
July 31:
Time to begin
dreaming...A midsummer night's dream, that is. Our dreamy weekend
begins with the August calendar which is dedicated to this
concept. Sofia has created a true dream inspired by Shakespeare's
delightful comedy. Since Sofia has read the play, she was sure to get
the famous quote from this play correct...It's one that's often
misquoted. Check out the calendar and the quote. What a gorgeous
calendar!! More treats to come soon...

July 26: Julie
in July...that's today's ticket...for Operation
Julie, a rare TV movie Bruce made in 1985. This one features a
long-haired, hippy-looking Bruce as Malcolm, an undercover cop trying
to bust a drug ring. We think the 25-year old Bruce looks adorable with
long blond hair and a beard. Because ot its rarity, we decided to put
the audio/video clips together and post the set on You Tube. To go
along with it, we created a new screensaver with some of those yummy
photos. Next week we'll have a
"midsummer night's dream" for you...something a little different
to perk up your summer doldrums...

For lots more photos of "Malcolm"
check out our Operation Julie page

For the screensaver, click here

July 19:
Flying right along to our finale,
here is photo gallery page 3 with the last of the yummy pics from Operation
Intercept. Pardon us while we
l-i-n-g-e-r over the new wallpaper page too...

July 18: As we cruise towards the smashing (pardon the expression) Operation Intercept finale tomorrow, we'd thought we'd
fly by with a yummy screensaver from OI. Bruce looks s-o-o-o good
that we couldn't resist.

July 12: Scrub up, it's time
for another operation...Operation
Intercept, that is. We've got more 55 more
dee-li-ci-o-o-o-u-s photos. And more coming next week--are we
lucky or what? And a special treat for the Grand Finale...

If you haven't seen our Operation
Intercept page already,
it also includes a behind-the-scenes pic of Bruce with the stunt
coordinator.
July 10: As promised, our kool
new friend Matt Poirier
of Direct
to Video Connoisseur has done a review of Warlock III and it's
awesome!! He thought the movie sucked but said Bruce saved the
film. He praises Bruce to the high hilt and even gives Bruce's
Angels a glowing recommendation. We like this guy.
And he's funny
too. He's going to review One
Man's Justice next. That should be a hoot. This guy is a
big fan of Bruce so please patronize his establishment. You can
check out the review of Warlock III
at:

July 5: Since we're still
in a patriotic and heroic mood, we thought this would be a good time to
do the photo galleries for Operation:
Intercept (aka
Aurora: Operation Intercept). Oh and are they luscious!
Bruce never looked better! He plays Gordon Pruett, a heroic
U.S. Air
Force pilot who has to rescue a downed pilot and a stolen secret
plane. Hey, we love it when Bruce plays a good guy. This is
Part I with 50 pics. More to come!!

July 4: For
the Fourth of July, Sofia made a special graphic for us. See
above. Meanwhile our German angel Steffi has sent us a beautiful
new Rane collage (see above and P57 page).
It has two names: "Charles Rane in Devil Plane" and in a delicious bit
of irony, "Blue Heaven." Take your pick.
June 30: You
didn't think we
would miss bringing you the July calendar, did you? Of course not, not
when
it's as beautiful as this one!
For the second half of 2008, our
Calendar Queen Sofia starts out in a totally different vein (and we
don't mean vampires...
). It's more like "summertime
and the livin' is easy..." or "make a wish..." Let's
see...we wish...ah, sorry, we're not telling...

June
28: "Paranoia
strikes deep. Into your life it will creep..." The old Buffalo
Springfield song is the perfect accompaniment to our new Paranoia 1.0 slide show. It's
a real dazzler; check it out on its own special page. Also check
out the new collage for the page.

Meanwhile if you haven't looked at our MySpace and You Tube pages
recently, why not?
The MySpace views are
up to 523 as of today, and the You Tube videos are really going
like gangbusters. The "Wrath of Damodar" is fast approaching 6500
while "Dark Love" is close to 7000 after only 6 months. What were those
naughty viewers expecting, h-m-m? Speaking of (sort of) naughty
topics, "Welcome to Hell" has over 3000 views. On a
(relatively) more wholesome or at least, less naughty topic, "Jurgen
and Nikita: One Kiss" has nearly 2000 views after only 6 months.
We'll keep 'em coming...
Seems other people agree with what we've been saying for years. When it
comes to villains, Bruce is The Man. Says Matt Poirier of Direct
to Video Connoisseur, in enumerating a list of problems with Bounty Hunter, the video he is
reviewing this week: "...Four, more bad guys
in bad Italian suits with bad mullets. Five, and
perhaps most important, a better head bad guy. This diminutive Italian
mobster they had was a waste. Pony up the big cash and hire Brian
Thompson or Bruce Payne." We couldn't agree more. Matt
reviews two of Bruce's films on his site and says a review of Warlock III is coming out in about
2 weeks. He's got a fun site to read so check it out at http://dtvconnoisseur.blogspot.com
June 21:
I'm
winging it all by myself for this update. Ariel stretched her wings and
took flight to La La Land for some R&R. But don't worry, I made
sure she watched Passenger 57
before she got on the plane. Speaking of which, the Rane just continues
to pour around here... with our grand finale of Page Three of the
Passenger 57 Photo Gallery
with 124 more photos of the sensational simmering Mr. Rane. I do enjoy
being photos manager of such a photogenic subject as Bruce, and P57
breaks a record of the most photos (304 to be exact) I have captured
from any of Bruce's films.
--Israfel

June 14:
When it Ranes it pours...and it's
Raning over all -- our web site...sorry but we just can't resist these
bad puns...
Here, without further ado,
is page two of the Passenger 57
photo gallery with 90 more sinfully sensational simmering photos of Mr.
Rane...pardon our sibilance...

NEWS: According to
the IMDb, The Book is now in
preproduction, apparently filming in 2009 and tentatively scheduled for
release May 5, 2010. Bruce is listed second in the cast as
Samuel. It's listed as a drama/horror/thriller. Good news indeed.
June 7:
It's raning photos
again, Passenger 57 photos,
that is...90 exquisitely delicious pics of the rabidly raging Rane
along with a kool, kool, kool kollage of Rane and Cutter by Israfel).
And about time too! Nowhere is Bruce's acting more
brilliant, to say nothing of being brilliantly gorgeous. And this is
merely page 1; there are 2 more to follow...

June 6: Oooo-la-la,
vive le France, c'est la vie, bonne chance, toujours l'amour...excuse
our French
...we're
getting in the mood for our latest update, an article on Dungeons &
Dragons from the
French magazine Mad Movies (obtained from EBay).
Webmaster Ariel's French is not quite up to the task of translating the
whole article into English--Maybe our French angel Ezechiel can
help--but those who can read French will enjoy reading this interview
with the director Courtney Solomon. If you can't read French, never
fear, you can still look at the pictures of Damodar (as well as the
dragons) along with Israfel (since Damodar is her favorite). Regardez

AND NOW THE GRAND FINALE OF OUR
KELL-TIC MARATHON! Here's the second page of the Highlander:
Endgame photo gallery,
with 140 pics!! Plus a icy-kool new HEG collage by Israfel featured on
the gallery page.

For June, we are giving the Movie of the Month a summer vacation and
instead featuring our SIZZLING
SUMMER SPECTACULAR Best of Bruce Photo Calendars. For
June, Sofia has cooked up a tasty calendar with a luscious photo of
Bruce from British Vogue guaranteed to heat up your summer.
intro to summer
May 30:
Kell yes, we are continuing our Highlander:
Endgame marathon!
Today we have an HEG slide show accompanied by
"Bonny Portmore," the hauntingly beautiful theme music
from the film, sung by the incomparable Loreena McKennitt. We'll
be placing it on the BA MySpace page soon also. Tomorrow our Grand
Finale...

May 24: Continuing with our
Kell of a Weekend, we have another Highlander:
Endgame update, this time with fantastically funny frivolity
behind the scenes on the DVD. You can actually see and hear Bruce
singing "La Bamba" on one of the three audio/video clips.

On a more serious note (and yes, we are sometimes serious...), our Feature
Presentation for this Memorial Day weekend is a SNAZZY--and
we mean SNAZZY-- "Hero Bruce" musical photo story
accompanied by the song "Hero" by Nickleback. It features photos from
Bruce's hero roles and has the koolest
transition effects we've ever seen. Ya gotta check this one out...
"a hero to save us..."
May 23: Two years ago we gathered together
LOTS and LOTs of positive reviews of Bruce's performance in LOTS and
LOTS of his films. We didn't want these reviews to get buried so we
have made new links to this page from the Actor and the Publicity
pages. If you missed them the first time around, check them out.
We know Bruce is a terrific actor and, fortunately, so do LOTS and LOTS
of other people. We don't have all of the reviews up on their
respective pages but we'll soon remedy that! In honor of our
current Kell of a Weekend series, we're going to give a more prominent
spot to the reviews for Highlander:
Endgame on the HEG page.

for HEG...
May 17: For the next several weeks, we will be
taking the High Road...the Highlander:
Endgame road, that is. It's definitely high time for more Highlander photos. For today,
Israfel has posted Part One of the Highlander:
Endgame Photo Gallery with 100 dastardly delicious photos and
there's more to come next week. Today's selection includes Jacob the
Priest and, as we've said before, no priest should look this
good. We can think of worse things than spending a few weekends
with Jacob Kell...what a kell of an idea. We have also posted a new Highlander collage above and on the Highlander wallpaper page.

May 16: Now
that Qamiel has a You
Tube page, can our other associate angels (or in this case, devil?) be
far behind? Not too far because Welcome to the House of Payne
and Mistress of the Darkness
are making their You Tube debut this week. Mistress even has a
new video, featuring her
favorite Dark Side character Harker from The
Howling VI. She calls it "The Mysterious Mr.
Harker." Ooooh v-e-r-y e-e-r-i-e, with an equally e-e-r-i-e
musical piece titled "Some Amount of Evil." Check it out.
We also placed a link to this video on our Howling VI page. That makes the fourth video featuring Harker and why
not? Was there ever a more seductively sinister vampire than
Harker?
Evil is as evil does and evil
does very well in this video...
You won't "howl" in dismay at this
page full of strikingly spectactular
reviews and sinfully sensational photos
The
Welcome to the House of Payne Howling
VI page is deliciously creepy fun...
The
Bruce's Angels MySpace Page now has 400 + views! In honor of this,
Israfel has given the page a new look with a Bruce photo background. We
are continuing to add new "friends" to the page. We thank all Bruce
fans who have emailed us at the MySpace page with friend requests and
gracious comments about Bruce. Since we are classic movie fans, our
newest friends joining us this week are Boris Karloff from Frankenstein and The Mummy fame and Claude Rains
from Casablanca and Phantom of the Opera fame.

May 10:
Yep,
it's time for
to
fly
Passenger 57 around
again.
Can you tell? We've posted a tasty photo story on You Tube with
some of the more delicious scenes, replete with sarcastic Ranisms, and
called it "Passenger 57: Rane of Terror."
It's raning Bruce Payne videos on You Tube...
Meanwhile
here's
a treat just for us angels and fans (at least for now): A photo story
of a very young and gorgeous Bruce with a beard and long hair playing a
hero (speaking of angelic--you gotta see him)--from "Operation
Julie." This movie is rare and obscure so it's a special treat we
are really glad we could bring you.
This operation will be quite painless, we promise...
And speaking of heros...we fondly remember all the old swashbuckling
films like "Captain Blood" (with the gorgeous Errol Flynn) and so
Israfel has created a "Buccaneer Bruce" graphic that we've posted on
the Heroes Wallpaper page. A-r-r-g-h, mateys, we'd love to see
Bruce as a pirate...
Every
bit as dashing as Errol...
May 9: Our
brother angel Qamiel had so much fun with the "Secret Agent Man" video
last week that he decided to join the merriment on You Tube. You can
expect more videos from him in the near future. In the meantime, check
out Qamiel's new Kool Bruce Payne page on You Tube.
Our German sister
angel Steffi has also sent our a new eerie new graphic from the very
eerie film, Wonderland.
It's
perfect for the Echo page on Welcome to the House of Payne.
Check out
the Wonderland/Echo page...if
you dare...
May 3: We're
a bit tired from all that partying
so our Movie of the Month is
a little low-key. However Sofia's calendar may be her best
yet. It's the webmaster's favorite (with the D&D1 being a
close second) of all the many great ones Sofia has
done. Israfel has also put the audio/video clips from
Messages*
into a set for You Tube so
if you haven't seen them yet, check it out. No word yet about the
Region 1 DVD release so it may be all North Americans get to see for a
while. To go along with the
Messages theme, we have also posted pics from this film on a yet
another photo gallery--Picture Trail. Click below.
We also have a post-May Day treat...a scrolling slide show titled "The
Many Faces of Bruce Payne." The photos are from his many films
and TV performances but are different than the ones for the May Day 4th
Anniversary collage. We placed it on our Photo Gallery page.

* PS. we kinda goofed last month--the Movie of the Month should have
been
Operation Julie. THIS
month is Messages! Must have
been all that pre-party celebrating,,.
OK,
Bruce's Angels is officially FOUR years old today!! Though
we have been celebrating since Saturday, we have one more treat as our GRAND
FINALE.
We've put our new "Secret Agent Man' video on You Tube (to
avoid the long download time for videos). This makes our 17th video on
You Tube (and more to come...)! If you haven't yet seen this one,
you don't want to miss it. As we said below, it's our best one so
far. Qamiel, who majored in communications in college, has
experience editing videos and it shows, and Israfel, our Photos
Manager, did a terrific job of selecting pics to match the lyrics of
"Secret Agent Man" by Johnny Rivers. The result is a exciting,
fast-paced video that showcases Bruce/Jurgen in a
gorgeous collage from La
Femme Nikita. BTW,
our You
Tube videos from
La Femme Nikita are
very popular;
we
expect this one to start getting lots of hits right away too.
This video is terrific! Really!! Don't miss it!!!

We've
come a long way since that day four years ago when we had only a few
photos and even fewer skills. What fun it's been learning new
ones! We
look forward to learning even more skills and continuing to bring Bruce
fans
new treats and updates in the years to come. Let's toast one more
time to our inspiration:
April 26:
IT'S TIME, YES,IT'S
TIME...WE'RE CELEBRATING FOUR YEARS FOR BRUCE'S ANGELS! AND WE'VE LOVED
EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! We're starting a
little early (May 1 is the official date) so we can have more time to
celebrate! And have we got a spectacular show for you!
Qamiel and Israfel pulled out all the stops and prepared two animated
shows for your viewing emjoyment that are SIMPLY STUNNING (as the
webmaster and not the one who designed them, I can brag on them a
bit). The first page features a scrolling slide show titled
BRUCE PAYNE: A CELEBRATION THROUGH THE YEARS with one pic from every
Bruce film and TV show that we have PLUS music by Kool and the Gang
singing "Celebrate"! But wait, there's more...the second page,
our Grand Finale, is a music video slide show featuring our favorite
hero Jurgen in SECRET AGENT MAN, complete with the Johnny Rivers
song. This is far and away the BEST VIDEO we have done, no
kidding. Qamiel lend his editing know-how and Israfel matched the
pics with the music perfectly! We've come a long way since our
first day four years ago. Our opening was sincere but to be perfectly
honest, kinda pitiful. But no more! We have honed our skills,
getting better and better each year. And for what better cause
than the talented, handsome Mr. Bruce Payne!!
